Chicago House AC To Scrimmage Steel City FC (MWPL)

The Windy City Visits The Steel City For A Friendly Match On July 17th, 2021 at 7:00pm

CHICAGO, IL (June 30th, 2021) – Chicago House AC announced that it will travel to Steel City FC of the Midwest Premier League (MWPL) who will host the House in a friendly on July 17th, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The match will be played at Kankakee High School.

Earlier this month, Chicago House AC and Steel City FC collaborated on a milestone achievement in American soccer when the Joilet, IL club became the first American amateur soccer club to receive a training compensation solidarity payment from a professional American soccer club. The payment was in connection with House’s signing of Steel City FC’s Damon Almazan to a professional contract.

In their inaugural season, Steel City FC currently sits in 3rd place in the Midwest Premier League. The “Steelmen” feature players and coaches that live and work in the south and southwest suburbs.

For it’s match against Chicago House AC, Steel City FC is seeking to “Pack the Place,” with its rapidly growing and passionate fan base on July 17th at 7:00 p.m.
